Blake Fogelsong
Owner/Director of Operations
Blake Fogelsong is a third-generation restaurateur and the driving force behind Clancy’s Hospitality, a family-owned group that operates seven acclaimed restaurant concepts across Indiana and Ohio. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Blake blends tradition with innovation—reimagining what it means to create restaurants with soul, character, and community impact.
A Ball State University graduate with a degree in Marketing and Professional Selling, has built his career on a genuine love for hospitality and a talent for bringing people together. As the driving force behind Clancy’s, he’s helped the group grow while staying true to its warm, guest-first philosophy. His leadership has shaped beloved concepts like The Fountain Room, a modern supper club in Indianapolis’ Bottleworks District; Grindstone on the Monon, a rustic Americana favorite in Westfield; and The Pretender, the first hi-fi listening bar to open in the greater Indianapolis area.
Blake is passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences through thoughtful design, warm hospitality, and crave-worthy menus. He’s also committed to cultivating strong internal culture—mentoring his teams and empowering staff to treat every guest like a friend walking through the front door.
Beyond the restaurants, Blake is deeply committed to strengthening the communities his company serves. He serves on the Board of Directors for Hospitality Indiana, where he advocates for using hospitality as a force for good through charitable initiatives, food drives, and partnerships with local nonprofit organizations. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville, helping advance programs that support the educational, social, health, cultural, and leadership development of local youth. In addition, Blake is an active member of the Community Engagement Committee for LIV Golf Indianapolis, working to foster meaningful community partnerships and expand the tournament's local impact. He is also a member of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy Class of 2027.
Blake is a speaker on leadership, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and company culture. He has delivered keynote presentations for Ball State University, Gordon Food Service, Rally Point, the University of Indianapolis, CRE Talks, and Culinary Collective. His insights have also been featured on several prominent podcasts and media platforms, including the Indianapolis Business Journal's Mason King Podcast, the Get Indiana Podcast with Nate Spangle, and the Elevate Podcast: Powered by Braden with Jason Ulm.
A dedicated fitness enthusiast, Blake has completed over 750 F45 classes, practices yoga weekly, an avid Golfer, and regularly competes in Spartan Races. Beyond the gym, he’s deeply rooted in family—spending quality time with both immediate and extended relatives. He’s also passionate about sports, travel, faith, and personal growth. Whether he’s cheering at a game, attending church, or diving into a good book, Blake is always seeking ways to challenge himself and become better in every area of life. He lives in Carmel with his fiancée, Ashley, and their two dogs, Luna and Leroy.
Whether he’s crafting a new cocktail list, working a dining room on a Friday night, or dreaming up the next big idea over black coffee and a notepad, Blake stays grounded in one mission: to serve others with excellence, heart, and a little bit of flair.
